ServerBeach offers 3 versions of the Windows Server 2003 operating system:
- Standard Edition
- Web Edition
- Enterprise Edition
ServerBeach recommends the Standard Edition for most applications due to the increased functionality compared to Web Edition. Web Edition is limited to 2 GB of RAM and cannot run Active Directory, so it is useful as a basic web server, but should not be used for multipurpose servers. The Standard Edition can support 4 GB of RAM and comes with the Windows Firewall for additional security. www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/default.mspx .
