I starting my business covering one overlooked and often ridiculed surf break at Sunset & PCH, simply because that was where I lived, so it was easiest to set up a live cam there. To my surprise, I discovered the die-hard surfers who frequented that break really valued my cam and were willing to pay for access to it. Over the years, I gradually added more locations with cams, but I ran into bandwidth problems. I was having a hard time meeting customer demand without paying a fortune in transfer costs. That's where ServerBeach came to the rescue! Now I'm back on track and hopefully will continue to grow.
